Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's Day—I hope many pancakes have already been consumed. Earlier this year, we published an article on " self-parenting " and I'm thinking about it again today. I know that Mother's Day can be a charged holiday for a lot of people , so I'm in the mood to broaden the definition. Sunday again! Really? Really! Lil anecdote for you: At the beginning of the week (let's say… Monday), my friend made an observation about me that I found both genuinely funny and slightly annoying. We were talking about how things were going with, you know, all of this , and when I gave a complaint-free report, she laughed and replied, "I think I'm starting to resent how well you're doing."
